ODWHRA Elections - Voting Begins
[2009.04.02]
On-line voting begins today and will be closing on April 10th at end of day.
Please note that if you choose to abstain from voting for a specific position, then please select "None" in the selections for that specific position.
Also note that the Director of Supervision shows up on the voting selection, but, as per our agreed upon amendment to the constitution, this is no longer an elected position, therefore, there is no nominee attached to it.

Elections Process - Dates to remember:
- Nominations are from March 16th to March 30th inclusive.
- Final list of Nominees and their descriptions will be published on our website on April 1st.
- Voting (on-line) is from April 2nd to April 10th inclusive.
Nominations - For submission of names of Nominees, the following must occur:
- Obtain consent from the person you are nominating.
- Obtain support from two other members in the association.
- Submit the Nominee's name to the Nomination Committee (by email) with a cc to the supporting members and the Nominee.
- Must be done by no later than end of day March 30th.
For those who have already been nominated (and for those who will get nominated by email), please send your 100 words or less description of what you would bring to the executive if you were elected.
Every person who has been nominated MUST provide a write up to be published on the website.
Send this information to the Nomination Committee by no later than March 30th end of day.
If anyone wishes to withdraw your name, please send an email to the Nomination Committee by no later than March 30th end of day.
Nomination Committee members are Carol Banks at ric@odwhra.com, Jeff Demers at discipline@odwhra.com and Paul Hennessey at paul.hennessey@rogers.com.
OnLine Voting:
- Will occur from April 2nd to April 10th inclusive.
- In order to vote on-line, you must be registered on our website, for which most of you are as that is how you do the quiz.
- Remember that once you vote online, you cannot change your vote as the system is designed such that you can only vote once.
- If you wish to abstain from voting for a particular position, then please choose "None" as your voting option for that particular position.
Any questions or concerns with the Election Process, please address with the Nomination Committee.
The new Executive will be announced during the April meeting; date to be determined and will be published on our website.

ODWHRA Executive Roles

As part of the Constitution that was passed in January, we will be accepting nominations for next year's Executive at this meeting. We will also be allowing for nominations to occur up to and including March 30th.
Executive Role Descriptions can be found below.
All nominations will be need to be endorsed by 2 other active members in ODWHRA. The complete process, along with each of the Executive Roles will be published on our website by end of day Thursday, March 12th. Should you have any concerns or questions please direct them to Carol Banks at ric@odwhra.com.
